After leaving school, Clare Crocker worked as a dental nurse in both general practice and a Specialist Periodontal Practice in Manchester. It was the experience gained in this practice that inspired her to train as a Dental Hygienist. She qualified in 1993 at the Liverpool Dental Hospital School of Dental Hygiene.

In 2001, Clare relocated to the Scottish Highlands to follow her love of walking. She worked for the Public Dental Service (NHS Highlands), often working with people with complex needs, including dental phobia.

After holidaying in the Scottish Borders, Clare fell in love with the area. She felt very lucky to have the opportunity to relocate here in April 2019. Clare Crocker joined The Gentle Touch Dental Practice in November 2019 as a dental hygienist.

When she’s not working, she continues to enjoy her love of walking and exploring the area. She is also actively trying to learn to play the harp!
