What is Facial Aesthetics?
Facial aesthetics refers to a collection of facial rejuvenating treatments. These including anti-wrinkle treatments (commonly known as Botox) and dermal fillers. Our experienced facial aesthetics practitioner (and dentist) is Ciara Sutherland. She offers non-surgical treatments as a way of reducing signs of aging, resulting in a natural, more youthful appearance. This is achieved using a range of anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers.
Dentists are ideal clinicians to provide facial aesthetic treatments. That’s because dentists have outstanding knowledge of the head and neck, including soft tissues and structures. This means you will be in very safe hands with Ciara Sutherland at our Kelso clinic.
Anti-wrinkle treatments
Our Borders facial aesthetics practice offers anti-wrinkle treatments only after a face-to-face consultation with Dr Ciara Sutherland. Members can book here for a no-fee, no-obligation consultation. Non-members pay a small fee of £29 for a consultation. Booking can be made through our Facebook appointments system or by direct message on Instagram.
Dermal fillers
Dermal fillers are commonly used at Gentle Aesthetics, in order to:
- enhance thin lips
- fill out sunken-in cheeks
- restore volume where its lacking
- reduce deep folds
